Yankees vs Toronto

June fourth was an upsetting day for the Yankees fans as the Yankees lost 6-1 against the Toronto Blue Jays brining their record to 34-21. As if losing to the Blue Jays 6-1 in nine innings losing to Toronto 3-2 on june fifth in 14 innings is even worse bringing their record to 34-22. But finally on june sixth the Yankees pulled off a win 4-3 against toronto bringing their record to 35-22.

Game one between the Yankees and Blue Jays was a disaster as Toronto scored one run in the second inning scored two runs in the fourth inning. Toronto scored one in the fifth bringing the game to 4-0 before letting the Yankees score one in the top of the sixth just to score another two runs in the bottom of the sixth. To end the game 6-1.

Game two between the Yankees and the Blue Jays wasn't as bad as game one but it was still sad for any Yankees fans. It is never easy to watch the Yankees lose to anyone no matter how good or bad they are. The Blue Jays led off the game in the second inning scoring one run to make it a 1-0 ball game until the fifth inning when the Yankees scored two runs. Toronto answered by scoring one run in the seventh to tie the game at 2-2 and bring it into extra innings. The game ended after 14 innings when Toronto ended by scoring one run to bring the score to 3-2.

Game three Between the Yankees and the Blue Jays changed the Yankee fans mood as the Yankees won game three 4-3.  Watching Game three was nerve reacting as a Yankee fan because the game was scoreless till the bottom of the sixth inning when Toronto scored two runs. The game stayed 2-0 till the top of the eighth inning when the Yankees pulled ahead scoring 4 runs making the score 4-2. during the bottom of the eighth inning Toronto scored one more run before the end of the game bringing the score to 4-3.

This was a close series for the Yankees and the Blue Jays. i am only disappointed because i know the Yankees could have won more then just that one game. Its ok though because the Yankees have three more games against Toronto later on in the season.

Yankees VS Baltimore

What else is new the Yankees won again last night beating the Baltimore Orioles for the third straight game winning 6-3 bringing their record up three days in a row bringing to 34-20. As of now the Yankees are 8-1 against the Orioles never letting them score more then 5 runs per game between all the games that they have played against the Orioles have only scored 20 runs total while on the other hand the Yankees have scored 49 runs against them. Wow scoring 49 runs through the course of 9 games is epidemic i never would have thought that that was possible for any team not even the Yankees no matter how good they really may be. I believe that no matter what the Yankees can definitely pull another three wins against the Orioles on June 8th,9th,10th. Will the Yankees keep this winning streak against the Orioles? Will the Yankees choke and lose? What will Happen I don't know about everyone else but i know for a fact i cant wait to see and find out how the next three games will go but even i don't think i can wait to see the results of the games.

Yankees VS Baltimore

June 1st was definitely a day to remember for me. It was my birthday and the day when The Yankees Beat The Baltimore Orioles 3-1 bringing their Record 32 -20. My birthday was just like any other day until i herd that the Yankees won their game it made the day just so much better i makes me feel so good that the Yankees would win on my birthday i know it sounds corny but it does make me feel better.  There was never a point that the game wasn't close.  The first time that ether team scored was in the 5th inning when the Yankees pulled ahead 1-0 until the 6th inning when Baltimore came back and scored bringing the score to 1-1. When Finally the Yankees pulled ahead and scored 2 leaving the score 3-1 never letting the Baltimore Orioles score again and ending the game with such a close score.

June 2nd the Yankees definitely had better luck again the Baltimore Orioles as the Yankees win  9-1 raising their record 33-20. To be honest i didn't think the Orioles even had a chance yesterday when they played against the Yankees after the 3rd inning had ended. The Yankees played fa nominal only letting the Orioles score once while they scored in the 2nd, 3rd, 7th, and 8th inning. In the 2nd inning the Yankees score 4 runs, in the 3rd inning they scored another 2 runs so far bringing the score to  6-0 until the sixth inning when the Orioles scored their only run. in the 7th inning the Yankees pull ahead again scoring 2 and scoring another in the 8th inning bringing the score to 9-1. The game went so well that Joe Girardi took out two of his best players out in the sixth inning Alex Rodriguez and Derek Jeter.

Subway Series Mets VS Yankees

The 2010 Subway series upset ed many New Yorkers mad and made many New Yorkers happy. After Game one of the Subway series (may 21) all those Yankee fans thought that they where going tho take series like the Yankees usually do as the Yankees win game one 2-1. But as game two of the series ended (may 22) both the Mets fans and the Yankee fans where nervous wondering who was going to win game three. Many fans argued placed bets on their team winning game three but on May 23 one team became victorious. It hurts me to say that the Mets won the subway series winning both game two and game three. the Mets won game two 5-3 and also won game three 6-4. This score upset ed many Yankee fans who lost their arguments  and their bets. But also at the same time this made many Met fans very happy that they bet the Yankees they won their arguments and won their bets.  Personally hearing that the Mets beat the Yankees ing the Subway Series is very upsetting especially being that i am a Yankee fan and i would never think that the Mets would ever develop a team that would be good enough to beat the Yankees. But it doesn't really matter because even if the mets get to the playoffs or even the world series they would do what they are most famous for which is chocking and loosing even if they ahead. I believe that if the Mets and the Yankees make it to the world Series the Yankees will pull themselves together and find a way to bet the Mets. Come on Yankees there is always next year.

Yankees VS. Tampa Bay

It was really hard for me to wrap my head around what had happened last night. The Yankees lost to Tampa Bay 8-6. The game brought it 45,483 fans and for the Yankees to loose to a team where everyone knows that the Yankees can beat is just shocking. When i saw the score of last nights game i had to look twice because at first couldn't believe what i saw. The Rays led off the game with 3 runs in the first inning for the Yankees to respond in the second inning with 2 runs and scoring again in the third inning bringing the score to 3-3 until the fourth inning when both teams scored 1 tieing the game again at 4. when in the fifth inning the Rays score 2 and scored 1 more in the sixth brining the score 7-4. The seventh went down with neither teams scoring and when in the eighth inning the Rays score 1 and put down the Yankees. The Ninth inning started and i am very sure that not only me but all the other Yankee fans got hyped up as the Yankees put down the Rays but unfortunately the Yankees where only able to score 2 runs before the game ended leaving the score 8-6.

Sorry to all those Yankee fans last night after The Yankees lost to detroit 6-0 making the Yankees record 22-12. CC Sabathia was the pitcher for the yankees last night and after last nights game his record is 4-2 with a 3.71 ERA and 38 strike outs. CC gave up six runs in only 6 innings. he gave up 1 run in the bottom of the second inning, 2 runs in the bottom of the fourth inning, and then 3 in the bottom of the sixth inning. CC gave up 7 hits in the six innings he pitched.

Congratulation's to the Yankees after beating the Detroit Tigers bringing their record from 21-11 to 22-11. The Yankees won 8-0. The Yankees scored eight runs in only three innings the Yankees scored one run in both the first and the third inning and came around and scored six in the ninth. Phil Hughes took the win last night bringing his record to 5-0 with an ERA of 1.38 and 39 strike outs this season. 5 out of the 9 innings that where played the detroit tigers went down 1,2,3. Phil Hughes pitched 7 great innings followed by Joba Chamberlain for one inning and then followed by Mariano Rivera for a 1,2,3, 9th inning. one of the highlights during the game was the top of the 9th inning when the inning started out with Cano being hit by a pitch and from then on the team just batted arround. once Cano got up to bat a second time Phil coke intentionally walked him. Finally Golson Flied out to the fight fielder to end the inning. Lets see if we can keep this good luck going. I believe that that Yankees have a very good chance at making the playoffs and maybe even the world series as long as we keep winning games and loose a few every so often. loosing isn't a bad thing as long as you have fun, take things serious, and play the best you can.
